Each Teal Birch edition is numbered beneath the image in pencil: artist initials, year, and fraction. We do not re-open closed editions; variant proofs are marked BAT or trial and kept in the archive.

Prints ship flat between acid-free boards when mailing is requested. Local collectors often pick up at the desk to inspect embossing and paper deckle. Certificates listing plate size, ink, and destruction of surplus proofs accompany higher-numbered editions upon request.

We maintain a waiting list for sold-out titles and notify subscribers when artist-approved reprints are never planned — transparency matters for collectors building consistent sets.

Edition numbers are written in pencil on each pull. Artist proofs stay limited and labelled. If a print shows an inking flaw we discuss replacement from the same edition when sheets remain, rather than pretending every impression is identical under variable hand pressure.
